Light Up the Classroom is a statewide educational initiative that helps Jewish parents, students, educators, and community volunteers introduce Hanukkah to non-Jewish students in an accurate, welcoming, age-appropriate, and engaging way.
Through the activities, the program builds familiarity with Jewish traditions and presents Jewish identity and Israel through positive human experiences.
The program is designed for children from preschool through high school and allows each participating family or school to choose the level of involvement that best fits its classroom.
